Unlike most of our competitors, our company does our work in the USA.  Based outside of Chicago, IL, Tidalworks was one of the founding logo design sites on the internet and remains a leader the design market today.

Over the past five years we have seen the design market online balloon from several reputable sites, to thousands - some scam sites, and many more poor businesses that hide behind the comfort of an internet store front.  There are several things you can do to make sure that you are dealing with a legitamate company online.

• Phone Number - Make sure that there is a phone number listed, preferably a non-toll free U.S number.  Many overseas companies use 800 numbers to mask their location.  An unknown  website without a phone number is an invitation for disaster.

• Physical Address - Check the companies contact information to see if there is a physical address listed.  While the internet can make it much easier to communicate, it can also be used by scam sites to hide behind the security of a virtual store front.

• Reputation of Quality - Perhaps the most important part of judging a logo design company online is the quality of their portfolio, and the quality of their references.  At Tidalworks, we take pride in knowing that the majority of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals. Also, you can be assured that everything we do is completely custom. Unlike many of our competitors,  you will never find our designs in a clip art catalog, or on display in another companies portfolio.

International Customers Welcome!

Although we are based in the United States, our customers make their homes all over the world. We do require that our international customers pay via credit card. We also require that all communcation be completed via the project manager and email. As time zones differ drastically throughout the world, we cannot be expected to communicate over the phone with those that live outside the U.S.
